100 people turned into human statues in Nha Trang
VietNamNet Bridge - The rare event of Vietnam’s body painting turned 100 young people into human statues for the parade of the 2013 Nha Trang Sea Festival.

This event is “rare” because this is the first time body painting art, a branch of contemporary Vietnamese art, has the largest number of participants and the largest performance in the public in front of thousands of attendees.
Ngo Luc – the pioneer in body painting in Vietnam – guided a group of 20 painters to paint on the body of 100 people in three hours to make them bronze statues in the sun of Nha Trang. These human statues then participated in a parade of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2013.
Here are the pictures of the event, through the lens of photographer Trinh Thanh Tuan.
