transfered patients to medical facilities with the drugs and instruments
available for treatment in the city. People can use public health insurance
at these healthcare units during the period in treatment. Drug
procurement bidding and negotiation have not yet released results due to a

River Four
children in southern Bình Phước Province were found dead on Sunday after
going swimming in the Đồng Nai River. They
were all 11th graders at Bù Đăng High School in Bù Đăng District. According
to initial information from the local authority on Sunday afternoon, a group
of 10 children organised a camping trip to Bãi Cạn of Đồng Nai River in Đồng
Nai Commune of Bù Đăng District. When
the others were camping, five children separated from the group to go
upstream to Hà Đăng Commune for a swim. While
swimming, the five students were dragged into a whirlpool about 5m deep. Hearing
cries for help, several people on the shore immediately jumped in the water
to aid the children. Despite
their efforts, only one child could be saved and the remaining four were
swept away and lost in deep water. Upon
receiving the news, the authority of Đồng Nai Commune mobilised militia
forces and police to coordinate with locals to search for the victims. At
3pm on the same day, after more than two hours searching, the functional
forces found the bodies of the four victims. The incident is being
investigated by the authorities. Tragic drowning cases on the rise
nationwide More
than 20 students have drowned across the country during the past week though
the summer vacation is yet to arrive. Seven
cases were reported in Nghe An, three each in Binh Dinh and Dak Lak, two each
in Lasi Chau and Dong Nai, and at least 10 cases in other localities. Most
of the drownings were reported when students went swimming in rivers and
streams in their localities to avoid early summer heat. Experts
warn the number of drowning deaths may rise in the coming months as students
finish their school year and the summer vacation is coming near. Hotter
weather would lead more people in the water, and unfortunately more people in
the water means more people are at risk of drowning, said experts. To
prevent such drownings, they suggested that localities, schools and parents provide
students with knowledge about swimming and what to do when drowning occurs. Vietnamese intellectuals in Germany

restore VNREDSat-1 operation The
Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) has informed of the success
of Vietnamese experts in recovering the normal operation of VNREDSat-1, the
domestic remote sensing satellite system. VNREDSat-1
is the first remote sensing satellite system of Vietnam to serve the tasks of
monitoring and managing natural resources, conducting research for
sustainable socio-economic development, and protecting the national
sovereignty. It
was successfully launched into the orbit on May 7, 2013 and has fulfilled its
missions of capturing valuable images and delivering them to the operation
center in the past 9 years. Working
for nearly 4 years longer than expected, it has shown signs of serious
technical faults related to the hardware that stores operation and control
data at the end of 2021, it was ordered to temporarily stop current
activities from November 9, 2021 to March 25, 2022. After
this successful repair, the satellite can now resume its regular work,
signaling the capacity of Vietnamese scientists in the field. This
maintenance has also provided precious experience to engineers operating the
VNREDSat-1 system, while a large amount of money and time has been saved as
the satellite can go back to normal soon. Until
now, VNREDSat-1 has captured 280 images, including 80 high-resolution ones,
to timely answer the needs of remote sensing data. Field trips help raise student
