new factory to assemble passenger doors for Boeing 777 aircraft was opened by
MHI Aerospace Vietnam Ltd Co. (MHIVA), a subsidiary of Japan’s Mitsubishi
Heavy Industries Ltd (MHI), on October 22.
According to MHI Senior Vice President Shigefumi Tatsumi, MHIVA is one of the two foreign-owned manufacturers of Boeing components in Vietnam, the other being Japan’s Nikkiso Company, which has been running its operations since 2010.
