At the event, visitors will have
both fun and chances to contribute to the community by buying raffle tickets
for VND50,000 (US$2.4) each to win lucky prizes such as airline tickets,
resort stays, spa packages, and more.
Every prize in the raffle is valued
at more than $100.
Santa Claus will be there to have
his photo taken with participants, bringing the festive atmosphere of
Christmas to the event.
The bazaar will continue the
tradition of selling goods, food and drinks from all over the world for a
worthy cause. Proceeds from the bazaar are distributed to help the less
fortunate in the community.
This is a chance for all
participants to go “shopping for a good cause by shopping to make a
difference” to welcome the holiday season.
It is expected that the bazaar will
attract more than the 2,100 visitors who attended last year’s event. Entry to
the bazaar is VND100,000 ($4.8) for adults, and children under 10 accompanied
by an adult can enter free of charge.
Projects supported by the Consular
Club using funds generated from the bazaar include scholarships, medical
care, improved rainwater purification, flood relief, and much more.
