Naval unit fulfils economic and national defence tasks

PANO – Over the past time, Brigade 170, under Naval Region 1, effectively implemented its tasks assigned by the Party, State and Defence Ministry.

Last year, it was presented the good training unit flag by the Defence Ministry. Especially, the unit well developed in combination with national defence work, as well as actively carried out search and rescue missions, providing moral support to local fishermen.

In 2013, Brigade 170 is scheduled to continue to promote its troops’ political awareness and combat readiness to be ready to deal with complicated issues that may emerge, making contributions to firmly protecting national sovereignty over seas and islands and economic activities at sea.
