Buddha hand shaped grapefruits, tiny watermelons, purple longans, and giant tomatoes, sweet potatoes and squash were the special fruits appearing on the market in 2014.
Buddha hand-shaped grapefruits appeared for the first time at eight pagodas last month. They are the fruit of three years of research of a private company.
The first 1,000 to 3,000 hand-shaped pomeloes will be available on the market this lunar New Year. They will be exported in the near future.
