Amateur videos of city explosions that killed ten
Ten people, including six family members, died early Sunday morning in two successive blasts that destroyed three houses in Ho Chi Minh City.

Local people living in the alley number 384 on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street in District 3 said that they heard two explosions in five minutes and then saw the three houses were in flames.
The disaster occurred around 0:15, they said, adding hundreds of firefighters on more than twelve fire trucks arrived at the scene about twenty minutes later.
The blasts sent shock waves to houses within a radius of several hundreds of meters and even broke some windows, they said.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the explosions erupted at the address 384/9 where 58-year-old Le Minh Phuong store his movie props, including tools to create fire and smoke effects.
Phuong was said to have created smoke and fire effects for movies by local filmmakers for six or seven years.
His acquaintances said that they had met Phuong late Saturday night when the man told of returning home to prepare some props for a film shoot in the touristy city of Vung Tau the next day.
Police confirmed that Phuong and his five other family members, including his 7-year-old youngest daughter, were among the dead while two of the other four victims’ bodies have yet to be identified.
Local authorities are still examining the cause of the catastrophe. Following are amateur videos of the detonations:
