The most influential Vietnamese CEOs
They are the leading brains who not only
have influences to their businesses’ development, but also to the development
of the country and the regional economies.
A lot of Vietnamese businessmen have been honored in
the world, namely Truong Gia Binh from FPT, the leading technology group in
Vietnam, Mai Kieu Lien from the dairy producer Vinamilk, Pham Thi Viet Nga
from Hau Giang Pharmacy, Pham Nhat Vuong from the real estate group Vingoup
and the “Vietnamese coffee King” Dang Le Nguyen Vu from Trung Nguyen Group.
In early May 2013, Truong Gia Binh, President and CEO
of FPT became the first Vietnamese businessman gloried by the Japanese
leading media group Nikkei and given the Regional Growth award for his
outstanding contribution to the regional economic growth.
This is for the first time over the last 18 years,
Nikkei chooses a Vietnamese businessman for the award.
Binh has been known as a brilliant businessman, who has
helped FPT Group obtain the total turnover of VND25,350 billion in 2012, or
over $1.2 billion, despite the economic crisis.
FPT, with 15,000 workers, has been present in 14
countries all over the world. Not only succeeding with FPT, Binh has also
helped develop the information technology of
Pham Nhat Vuong, now President of VinGroup, has been
glorified by Forbes, which puts him at the 974th position among the richest
people in the world with the total assets of $1.5 billion.
