In all of Miya’s works, a boat is painted as a symbol of a traveler who makes a life journey. In her work, Julia Ossko keeps away from anything that is fast-paced or impulsive. She combines her mostly large format drawings with time, which results in a deeper relation with the object. Eugen Schulz creates refined collages from found, printed materials. Different stories hide behind his futuristic, minimalist compositions. Subtle nuances transport philosophical content behind simple forms. Exhibition ‘The Leavers’ Galerie Quynh Level 2, 151/3 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, The exhibition features a series of paintings informed by Brooklyn-based artist Trong Gia Nguyen’s ongoing film project, DONG, an exploration of family history through the imperfect lens of memory.
