Hanoi authorities join social networks Hanoi People's Committee launched a Facebook page at the beginning of December and said it would establish a presence on other social networks to better promote its policies and connect with the public. The news was officially confirmed by Hanoi authorities on December 17.   Hanoi’s city authorities have set up their first Facebook account Asides from the official website at thudo.gov.vn, Hanoi’s authorities have opened an official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thudo.gov.vn/ to receive feedback from the public. In the coming time, the authorities will continue opening more accounts on other social networks. Several Vietnamese agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Government Office have also joined social networks as they believe they will receive better feedback from the public.
