VietJetAir makes huge Airbus order   The Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJet Air) on September 26 received an A320 Sharklet in Paris, the first in a series of aircraft the airline has ordered from Airbus. The hand-over ceremony saw the presence of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on the occasion of his official visit to France.-VNA/VNS Photo PARIS (VNS)- VietJetAir has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the world's leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus for an order of 100 aircraft of different types. The signing ceremony took place at Montignon Castle in Paris and was witnessed by French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung. The order includes the purchase of 92 A320 family aircraft and the lease of eight more from third party lessors.
