Skeletal remains were found last December when the Xe family
began building a bio-gas cell. The first remains were found underneath a
stone that weighed about 200kg.
“The remains are of different shapes and sizes,” Xe said.
He said there was a lot of oxidised metal among the bones. Two
sets of remains were in what appeared to be iron stocks, while evidence of
iron rust could be seen on wrist and ankle bones.

“The lying positions of remains are really diverse, ranging from
on one’s side to prostrate and curled up,” Xe said.
Dang Si, former vice chairman of Ba Ngoi Ward People’s
Committee, said, “We have never heard any stories from old people in the
village talking about any related incidents.”
Tran Anh Dung, vice chairman of Cam Ranh municipal government
said , “I’ve directly come to see the grave and we’ve yet to find any
evidences proving that the remains belong to soldiers. We’ll continue to
investigate the case."
“Up to now we’ve yet to get any information about the grave.
We’ll ask for a direction from the provincial officials,” Dung said.
