Classical concert to aid impoverished children
Smile For You, a classical concert that
aims to spread love and sympathy to impoverished and underprivileged
children, will take place at V-Art Club inside the Indochina Plaza Hanoi this
Saturday night.
Cellist Bui Ha Mien will perform in
the classical music night ’Smile For You’ this Saturday night to raise money
for disadvantaged children.
The concert will feature both classical and modern
works like Salut D’amour by Edvard Elgar, Fanatasie Impromtu by Frédéric
Chopin and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, which will be performed by
cellist Bui Ha Mien, violist Trinh Minh Hien and pianist Tran Thu Thao.
The contribution to disadvantaged children is included
in the ticket price, which can be purchased either directly at V-art Club or
by calling 0199 319 1775/ 0945 283 441.
Violist Bui Ha Mien is a member of the Hanoi
Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hanoi Strings Chamber Orchestra, while Trinh
Minh Hien is now a violist with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra. Pianist Tran
Thu Thao established the THT Art Center with a desire to share knowledge and
experiences with people who have the same interests.
