Local footwear exports surge
HA NOI (VNS)-
According to the
Viet Nam Leather and Footwear Association (Lefaso), many Vietnamese producers
are now turning to new markets, including the

turnover hit US$1.73 billion by the end of March, or a year-on-year increase
of 16.1 per cent, making it one of the country's key 10 export items with
total earnings in the first quarter of 2013 surpassing $1 billion.
