Ten Vietnamese enterprises have made their presence in the
The annual selection is aimed at honoring public companies in
the Asia Pacific region with annual revenue between US$5 million and $1
billion, according to Forbes.
Of the Vietnamese companies in the list, Ninh Hoa Sugar JSC
had the largest 2012 revenues, US$45 million, and the Educational Book JSC in
Ha Noi had the smallest, $7 million. See the full list at the end of this

The selected firms also satisfied the following criteria: five-year
average return on equity and pretax margin greater than 10 percent, positive
sales and earnings per share growth for both the most recent fiscal one and
three-year periods, debt less than 75 percent of shareholders’ equity, and a
trading history of at least one year, according to Forbes.
“The final list of 200 is not ranked, but qualified firms are
measured comparatively. Only 52 of the 200 repeat from last year, although a
dozen others returned to the BUB from lists previous to that,” it said.
Booming
With 10 representatives, Vietnam stands at the #8 rank out of
13 countries and territories whose companies are in the list, behind
Australia (12 slots) and above Thailand (8 selections).
