At the time of the fire, there were seven crew members, a tourist guide, a catering attendant and 16 foreign tourists on board. No human casualties were reported. The 18-bed QN2566 ship is owned by the Ha Long Bien Ngoc Company Ltd. The ship had just resumed operations after undergoing repairs. The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.- VNS
