Vietnamese officials visit USS George Washington US supercarrier USS George Washington     A delegation of Vietnamese officials visited the supercarrier USS George Washington on October 20. The visit, which was made at the invitation of the US Embassy in Vietnam, took place during the supercarrier’s passage through international waters near the country. The delegation of Vietnamese officials was introduced to the ship’s activities and the daily life of its crew members. The two sides held exchanges to increase their mutual understanding. This is the third visit of a Vietnamese delegation to the USS George Washington since 2010. (VNA)
