Discover World Heritage Site of Trang An in pictures

Located in the complex of Trang An World Heritage Site in Ninh Binh province, the Trang An eco-tourism resort looks spectacular.

The Trang An wharf is 3 km from the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, 7 km from Ninh Binh City, and 96 km from Hanoi. The site is an exciting destination for the weekend.
Currently, visitors to Trang An often buy the regular boat tour, which lasts about three to four hours.
The boat fare is VND150,000 ($7) per person and is free for children under 1 meter tall.
In this tour, visitors go through 12 caves and three temples: the wharf – Trinh Temple – Dia Linh Cave – Toi Cave – Sang Cave - Tran Temple - Tran Temple Cave - Si Cave- Sinh Cave - Tinh cave – Ba Giot Cave – Nau Ruou Cave – Phu Khong Cave - Tran Cave – Quy Hau Cave - Wharf.
In Trang An, the lakes form a closed water route. The network of caves here is like a labyrinthian battle.
Each lake is a watercolor painting.
The caves of Dia Linh, Nau Ruou and Ba Giot are associated with ancient legends.
In the cave of Nau Ruou (cooking wine), there is an underground water current of over 10 m deep. Legend says that the water from this current was used to process wine for the King.
Phu Khong is an outstanding spiritual tourist site on this tour. The temple worships seven loyal subjects of the Dinh Dynasty. There is a fig tree a thousand years old, which yields two kinds of fruits on the same tree.
Trang An was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2014 by UNESCO.
On January 23, 2015, UNESCO granted a certificate to Ninh Binh province.
