Top law maker pledges close cooperation with Japan

NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Tanizaki Yasuaki
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has affirmed that the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) will do its utmost to promote cooperation between the two countries and peoples.

Hung made the statement while receiving Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Tanizaki Yasuaki in Hanoi on November 21.
He said he is delighted at the strategic partnership between the two countries and took the occasion to thank the Japanese Government for maintaining ODA provision to Vietnam.
The NA chairman expressed his hope that besides the cooperation between the two legislatures, parliamentary agencies and friendship groups of law makers boost exchanges and share professional experience, which he said will help further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Yasuaki said Japan will provide more official development assistance for Vietnam to implement infrastructure projects to serve national socio-economic development.
The diplomat said he hopes Vietnam will continue to improve the investment environment, thus creating all possible favourable conditions for Japanese businesses to operate in the country.
