Sang praised PetroVietnam for its rapid expansion, especially in foreign markets, adding that over 50,000 oil and gas employees had worked their hardest in not only production and trading, but also in defence, security, diplomacy and social welfare. He hoped PetroVietnam would become one of the biggest oil and gas groups in Southeast Asia during the 2011–2020 period.
