Cambodian PM encourages local
businesses to invest in his country
HA NOI (VNS)- Visiting Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has
confirmed that his country will create more favourable conditions for
Vietnamese investors and businesses.
PM Hun Sen made the
statement at a meeting with Vietnamese investors in Ha Noi yesterday, which
also included
Hun Sen praised
Vietnamese businesses, adding that he would like them to intensify their
operations in

Association of Vietnamese Investors in
Earlier the same
day, the Cambodian leader met 500 Vietnamese experts and volunteer soldiers
who fought in battlefields in Cambodia at a gathering which also saw
participation by Vietnamese Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Representing the Vietnamese
experts and volunteer soldiers, Nguyen Van De recalled when he and his
comrades fought alongside the Cambodian people and revolutionary armed forces
against the Pol Pot genocide regime.
PM Hun Sen also
spoke highly about the development of the two countries' relations in recent
years.
The two countries
are determined to increase their cooperation to new levels, with two-way
trade turnover to reach $5 billion by 2015, he added.
