Seven camping students missing at sea                                 Rescue workers have combed through April 30 Beach in HCM City’s Can Gio district to search for seven secondary school students missing during their weekend camping trip.  The seven unfortunate were among the 96 students of Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School in Binh Duong’s Dau Tieng district going camping at the weekend. The students' relatives and loal people gathering at the site They went swimming at April 30 Beach and were swept away by high tidal surges. A male student was found on the afternoon of December 29 and admitted to Can Gio General Hospital. However, he passed away despite doctors’ intensive efforts.    At 6.30pm, rescue workers found another dead body. Parents of the victims were present at the beach to identify their children. HCM City Fire Brigade, Border Guard and Navy Command officers and staff were also deployed to search for the remaining five victims. Huynh Cach Mang, Secretary of the Can Gio District Party Committee, said the local administration provided VND5 million in emergency aid to each family of the victims and is considering additional assistance.  VOV
