Although Halloween is a typically Western tradition, it has been introduced to Vietnam with one main purpose: to have fun. Nowadays, Halloween party is not only held at tourist sites but almost anywhere in the country, especially in big cities.  A shop owner on Hang Ma Street, Hanoi, which is well-known for toys and hand-made goods, said since Halloween is not Vietnam's traditional festival, only young people come to their shops these days.
