Real break-up spurs slew of racy videos
Many young people have been making video clips of girls taking off clothes in public to mock a recent break-up made very public on Facebook.

In November, a young girl stirred up the internet by telling the story of her break-up. She claimed that her rich ex-boyfriend asked for the return of all the gifts he had given her while together.
She posted a clip recorded on her mobile phone showing her ex-boyfriend sending people to her home to collect everything. Amid the anger, her father even paid an extra VND2 million (USD96) to the ex-boyfriend.
Following this incident, many jokes and slang terms referencing the incident surfaced. The first parody clip was made by somebody with the handle Zenda Pro on Youtube. However, it garnered less attention than a later clip called Anh Khong Doi Qua (I won't take back the gifts).
Some of the lyrics to the song are, "...I'm poor so no one loves me... but when we break up I won't take back the gifts..." The clip features two boys following a girl after her break-up while the girl gradually takes off her clothes and accessories until she is stripped down to her underwear on the street.
The idea of this clip is said to be copied from a similar Chinese video which also shows a girl gradually taking off her clothes. However, this clip still went viral, attracting over 1.5 million views.
Many young people followed suit, making clips of girls taking off clothes in public. The film crew of one of these videos in Can Tho City faced some troubles and received a warning by the police.
The trend has stirred up a large amount of internet chatter and controversy on Vietnamese websites.
