In Cho No Bridge in Duong No commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien - Hue province, water is rapidly rising. The villagers and civil defense forces pick up water hyacinth to clear the flow. Many police officers and soldiers are sent to villages to help local people. A bunch of vegetables is priced VND10,000 instead of the usual prices of VND4,000-5,000.   In the afternoon of October 15, bread and noodle making enterprises and some restaurants in Da Nang opened again. At the noodle shop at Le Do - Tran Cao Van intersection, many people lined to buy noodles for dinner. The signboard of this shop was destroyed by the storm. In many areas, power and safe water were not provided yet so people buy processed food for their dinner. Last night, most areas in Quang Nam province did not have electricity yet so all activities took place in the light of oil lamps or candles. Mr. Thanh in Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province said he did not sleep for a second on the night of October 14 but his house lost the roof and assets were damaged. "Our beds are wet and damaged so tonight we will not have any place to sleep. Anyway we were not in the mood to sleep. Our family will take instant noodles for dinner," he said.    Source: VNE
