Trong Nghia bamboo work at Venice Architecture Biennale
bamboo work by Vietnam representative, architect Vo Trong Nghia, has been
sent to compete in the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale in Italy.
This year exhibition is titled Freespace to describe a
generosity of spirit and a sense of humanity, focusing on the quality of
space itself. There are 63 national pavilions at this year exhibition held by
La Biennale di Venezia, one of the world’s most famous and prestigious
cultural organisations, from May 26 to November 25.
Architect Vo Trong Nghia brought the Bamboo Stalactite pavilion to the
Biennale that has a simple design and low budget. It was completed in just 25
days with help from eight engineers and architects from both Vietnam and
